KFC partners with Alipay for Chinese mobile payments

The chicken chain has become the latest major retailer to strike a deal with Alipay.

The deal will enable customers in China to pay for their orders with their mobile phones.

According to an article published by Finextra Research, under the deal, around 5000 KFC outlets in 900 cities across China will let people pay by scanning barcodes on their handsets.
