Carluccio's administrators to be paid £1.2m

Staff owed unpaid wages have been forced to apply to the Insolvency Service.

The administrators overseeing Carluccio’s will collect an estimated £1.2m in fees, according to Companies House documents.

The Italian restaurant chain, which was owned by Dubai-based retailer Landmark since 2010, called in FRP Advisory as administrator on 30 March.

Recently, 31 of its 72 sites were acquired for £3.4m by the Boparan Restaurant Group.

Staff owed almost £1.6m in unpaid wages, meanwhile, have been forced to apply to the Insolvency Service.
