LEON sold back to co-founder
The healthy QSR chain reported a loss of £8.38m for the full year 2024.
LEON has reportedly been sold back to co-founder and ex-CEO John Vincent by grocery chain Asda.
The sale includes 46 Leon restaurants, 20 UK franchises, three franchised locations in the Netherlands, and one in Italy.
In September, LEON reported a full-year 2024 loss of £8.38m, citing continued challenging economic conditions.
Total restaurant revenues were £62.5m, a dip of £2.4m from the previous year. Gross profit for the year was £40.92m compared to £41.48m last year.
