Baba G's set to open first sit-down restaurant
The upcoming outlet is located at Camden Market.
Baba G’s will open its first sit-down restaurant at Camden Market’s North Yard on May 24.
After over a decade of trading at London’s street food markets, Baba G’s now has its first permanent restaurant that has a 50-seater unit and a Bollywood style graffiti wall. It will also feature a large open kitchen alongside a shorter street food takeaway menu.
The brand will offer Indian-inspired classics, including its signature Pacho’s poppadom nachos, Chicken Tikka nuggets, Bhangra burgers, Raan Lamb and Achaar Croquettes, Spiralized Celeriac Bhajis as well as its kids menu called ‘Little G’s’.
“We started our journey with Camden Market as part of its international street food line up (located in the West Yard, overlooking Regent's Canal) and so when the opportunity arose to see our brand grow further, the Market seemed like the natural choice,” Baba G’s co-founder Liz Selway commented.
Baba G’s have taken this permanent site venture independently of Million Pound Menu investors’ Atul Kochhar and Jamie Barber, who have continued to mentor them through the process.
