Caffe Nero in Click and Collect Move
Joining forces with House of Fraser.
Caffe Nero, the coffee house chain, has teamed up with House of Fraser to provide collection points for the retailer's 'click-and-collect' service. It will be the first service in the UK to combine online shopping with cafe culture.
The concept will allow House of Fraser to create an 'online shopping service' and 'buy and collect' point in locations where they don't have a physical store presence.
The outlets themselves will see the ground floor having the look and feel of a Caffe Nero, but with House of Fraser tablet devices and touch screens. Customers will be able to browse the retailers offerings while relaxing over a coffee. The first floor will have a House of Fraser branded front of house with the feel of a 'Buy & Collect' department, including till points and fitting rooms.
Speaking of the announcement Simon Thomas, Head of Business Development at Caffe Nero said "Our customers have always come to Caffe Nero to enjoy their coffee in a relaxed and friendly environment... The opportunity to provide added value and convenience by enabling them to shop online, and collect their items in store appeals".
The first store will open in the Caffe Nero on Fitzroy St, Cambridge on October 16.
