Chinese-inspired concept Lucky & Joy to establish its first brick-and-mortar restaurant

The new 44-cover restaurant will incorporate the same “kitsch edge and eccentric design” of its pop-up stores.

Lucky & Joy announces the opening of its first permanent restaurant in Clapton on 26 November.

Their latest menu will feature Parr’s take on local Chinese dishes, including her Xinjiang Lamb Chops.

Vegetarian and vegan-friendly entries will also be introduced, such as Shiitake Turnip Cake and Yunnan Smacked Cucumbers

A curated drinks menu includes Yunnan Flavour cocktail and their signature Lucky’s G&T made with Sichuan peppercorn-infused gin, pomelo and tonic.

The brand says the 44-cover restaurant will incorporate the same “kitsch edge and eccentric design” of its pop-up stores.
