D&D London to launch new co-working concept
The Workroom aims to be a freelance office solution for modern professionals.
Hospitality group D&D London announced the upcoming launch of their new co-working concept.
Launching as an app on 10 June, The Workroom will initially utilise five of its locations to serve as an office solution for professionals and is intended to be a platform connecting restaurants with freelancers and entrepreneurs.
The app will allow users to select their location of choice and book a table, which will then serve as their office for the day, available in individual day passes or multiple bundles of passes to be used as and when required.
Each Workroom location will have Wi-Fi, plug sockets as standard, complimentary tea, coffee and water.
Through the initiative, D&D London looks to respond to the “pitfalls” of existing co-working options and take advantage of quieter dayparts of their restaurants, such as lunch.
“The idea behind The Workroom is about ‘redefining the work space’, as well as redefining what ‘work’ is,” Workroom co-founder Dominika Sadowska said.
D&D London also confirmed that it intends The Workroom to expand across the Capital, branching out into other restaurants in addition to the original five.
