EG On The Move debuts new in-store bakery concept

The new Bill’s Bakery opened earlier this year and now operates at four forecourt sites.

EG On The Move has introduced a new in-store quick-service concept, Bill’s Bakery, at four of its forecourt locations.

The bakery opened earlier this year and is now operating at sites in Stowmarket, Cobalt, Wyberton, and City Services Liverpool, with around 20 staff working across the locations.

The company expects to expand the concept to additional forecourts within its network.

The offer is aimed at early-morning customers, particularly tradespeople looking for a quick breakfast, coffee, and possibly a takeaway lunch.

Food is prepared fresh on-site each day, including baguettes, filled rolls, and salad boxes, whilst hot items are available from self-serve heated cabinets.

The menu also includes sweet options such as cinnamon swirls, Belgian buns, and doughnuts.
