Founded & owned by Sercan Ugurlu, former Exec Head Chef at Megan’s, & Iskren Slavkov, former General Manager at Megan’s, Sonya brings a refreshing approach to Aegean cuisine. The venue offers a homely taverna ambiance, with dusty-pink walls & open fires. With the distinct scent of burning coal, beech & olive wood, which are used to cook the food on the open grill, you are immediately welcomed by a warm, familial cosiness.
Over the past six months, their evening menu has evolved to welcome whole turbot, grilled octopus with harissa, feta ezme & pomegranate, cote de boeuf & wagyu beyti sarma.
