Jamaican fried chicken concept launches in Solihull
Jamaya will be serving authentic jerk and Jamaican fried chicken in Touchwood Shopping Centre.
A Jamaican fried chicken concept is launching in Solihull.
Located in the Upper Jubilee space of Touchwood Shopping Centre, Jamaya's debut restaurant will feature a bespoke graffiti mural, inspired by Jamaican culture and created by local portrait artist and illustrator, Nathan Parker. With brightly coloured traditional Jamaican blue wood and lit with neon lights, the 1,779 square-foot-restaurant will serve 65 tables.
“Our soft launch received an amazing response and we have gained a lot of love from our customers. It is so great to see our concept come to fruition and we are very thankful to all the team at Touchwood for making our dreams a reality,” Byron Carnegie of Jamaya said.
The new concept will introduce a menu of chargrilled jerk chicken, Jamaican fried chicken, burgers, Caribbean sides, all complimented by draft beers, rum punch and original Jamaican juices.
