Mariage Fréres to open luxury French tea house in Covent Garden
Slated to launch in September, the flagship branch will feature three distinct sets of offerings.
French luxury tea purveyor Mariage Frères has announced that it will open its first London store this summer, a five-storey listed Georgian townhouse on Covent Garden’s King Street.
The upcoming 1,200 square metre flagship branch will have three distinct offerings, integrating tea in various cuisines, designs, and antiques.
Currently stocked in Selfridges and available in London restaurants and hotels such as The Rosewood, and Claridge’s, the brand has been operating out of the Marais district of Paris since 1854.
