PizzaExpress launches new PizzaExpress Pod in Southampton

It is a new grab-and-go concept, allowing customers to order from an open kitchen and collection window.

PizzaExpress announced the launch of its PizzaExpress Pod located at Tesco Extra in Southampton.

The PizzaExpress Pod allows customers to order and collect when on the move, ordering from an open kitchen and collection window.

Launching simultaneously with delivery partners Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat, the PizzaExpress Pod will also bring the brand’s Dough Balls straight to doors across the area.

The PizzaExpress Pod will also feature a £9.95 pizza and soft drink lunch offer, with Tesco Clubcard members able to redeem their well-earned points, which are boosted to twice their value when converted to a PizzaExpress voucher, to use on their pizza from the Pod.

The new pod is one of the brand’s growth drivers as it continues to expand its retail range and grows its international presence, intending to reach 1,000 pizzerias globally by 2030.
