Vegan restaurant Genesis to launch in September
The concept features a range of Western dishes and Asian street food.
A new vegan restaurant is set to open in September on Commercial Street, Shoreditch.
Genesis will be serving wide range of salads, soups, tacos, burgers, hotdogs, and desserts. It is said to be inspired by Asian cuisine as it includes the Indian street food Aloo Tikka Chaat, Shawarma with Israeli salad and the Malaysian dish Char Kway Teow.
Their hotdogs and burgers, specifically, play homage to various countries’ meals. Offerings of these kind include the American Woman burger, Bánh Mì Dog, Bombay Dog and New York Dog with kimchi, coleslaw, Yuca or french fries as choices for side dishes.
The dessert menu will have brownie sundae, bread & butter pudding, cheesecake and soft-serve ice cream with a selection of toppings.
Beverages include cold-pressed juices, milkshakes, Lo Bros Kombucha, organic drinks from Longflint Drinks Co., house cocktails, organic beers and wines, and cold brew coffees from Dutch Lab.
The new site will have two floors, pastel pink tiles, walls and floors with original graphic artwork and a neon signage.
