
Wagamama's Payment First
First to offer Qkr! app with MasterPass.
Wagamama, the pan-asian chain, has teamed up with MasterCard to enable customers to pay their bill as and when they are ready.
The app, downloadable from the App store or Google Play enables patrons to pay quickly, and will also enable them to split bills if they are in a group.
Wagamama is the first restaurant to offer this payment technique and it will be available at 112 of their outlets.
Speaking of the announcement, Richard Tallboy, Director of Business Development at Wagamama said "The biggest area of feedback from restaurant customers is related to the speed and convenience of payment. The Qkr! with Masterpass payment app provides us with a great solution, allowing cutomers to control when they want to pay through a simple and secure download app... putting them in control of paying when they are ready makes for a more relaxing dining experience".
