Delicious Pho opens first UK restaurant

Delicious Pho has officially opened its first UK restaurant in London’s Spitalfields market on February 1, following a soft launch.
Occupying the former Byron site, the chain seats1 34 people and is available for both dine-in and takeaway.
Founded by Chau, Delicious Pho boasts a menu centred around the Vietnamese soup dish, made with homemade broth where the flavour has developed over 12 hours, rice noodles and protein are then added along with a side of fresh herbs beansprouts, lime and chilli.
Supporting the core menu is a variety of starters including zingy salads, chicken wings and summer rolls, as well as sharing platters. Curries, rice and noodles in multiple forms are also featured.
Chau gained a reputation for Delicious Pho in Canada, where she emigrated to in 1992 and worked as a chef in numerous Vietnamese restaurants before embarking on her own solo venture.
In keeping with Lunar New Year celebrations, Delicious Pho handed out red envelopes complete with rewards, prizes and discounts.
