What are the most popular promotional techniques QSRs are using today?

7 out of 10 promotions are comprised of price reductions.

Price reductions are the dominant promotions, comprising nearly 70% of all promotions in dining-in restaurants according to the most recent Meaningful Vision data that shows what type of deals are the most popular in QSR chains.

The infographic shows that fast food chains often rely on special price offers (45%), limited-time discounts (24%), and coupons to entice customers.

In the delivery segment special price offers take the lead, comprising 35% of promotions, followed closely by discounts at 30%. Free delivery (16%) and extra free products (12%) also play significant roles in attracting and satisfying customers.

“Promotions are the lifeblood of the restaurant industry, with price reductions leading the pack. However, to truly stand out, restaurants must embrace the power of competitor tracking. In the Fast - food industry, staying ahead requires a strategic and informed approach to promotions,” Maria Vanifatova, CEO and Founder of The Meaningful Vision Company, said.
