Who Tops GH Sushi Review List?

The Hana sushi set sold by the Japanese food chain took the highest review score on the Good Housekeeping Institute food reviews for sushi.

The set, which received the score of 83/100, includes salmon, tuna, egg, eel and prawn nigiri; salmon, avocado and cucumber hosomaki; salmon and prawn gunkan; salmon, avocado, seafood stick and egg inside-out rolls.

“The Wasabi Hana Set is beautifully presented with a well varied selection of flavours and textures. The set is wonderfully fresh-tasting,” the review said.

The second and third places were taken by Pret’s A Manger Salmon, Prawn and Crab Sushi Set (with a score of 80), and the Itsu Health and Happiness Sushi Set (with a score of 78).

“When new products are launched, we don't just rely on what the manufacturers tell us. We test their claims and only if they pass our rigorous quality assessment tests will we recommend them to you,” the Institute said on its review page.

“The consumer team receives hundreds of products every month, from major appliances to cleaning products and techie gadgets. Each product that is tested at the Good Housekeeping Institute undergoes real-life testing but in a controlled environment.”

“We evaluate products in four main areas - performance, design, ease of use and quality of instructions, and bring you all the information you need to make a choice.”
