
Marks & Spencer's healthy boost in hospital shops receives negative feedback
M&S withdrew its sugar-sweetened drinks from hospital stores.
According to The Telegraph, NHS hospitals complained when Marks & Spencer tried to make its drinks more healthy in its in-hospital shops.
The brand also cut off promotions for foods high in fat, salt and sugar in the 28 outlets as part of a wider goal to reduce calories, sugar and fat by 2010 by 2019, a year ahead of a Government-set target.
