Robot services now available in Las Iguanas’ two restos

It stemmed from a partnership with Soft Bank Robotics.

Customers in two Las Iguanas’ restaurants will be greeted with service robots to ensure efficient food service.

In a statement, Las Iguanas said it conducted a trial partnership with Soft Bank Robotics for the deployment of eight service robots. Of the number, six are in Centre Parcs Elveden Forest whilst two are in the Cambridge store.

The service robots will help deliver food and drinks to tables, return dishes to the kitchen and boost staff’s interaction with guests.

Alan Morgan, Managing Director, Las Iguanas, and CEO, The Big Table Group, said, “Las Iguanas is a fun, vibrant and innovative brand, and we’re always looking for progressive ways to deliver the best possible experience for our guests, whether that’s by exploring new technologies, or through new product development."
