YO! Sushi extends partnership with Tesco

This follows the conducted trials in two Extra hypermarkets in October 2018.

Sushi restaurant YO! has inked another deal with grocery chain Tesco to extend the availability of YO!’s to-go products inside the latter's stories.

IGD RetailAnalysis reported on 1 August that YO! Sushi will open more manned kiosks in Tesco supermarkets, following its first trial in October 2018 in two Extra hypermarkets located at Bournemouth and Sunbury-on-Thames.

YO! CEO Richard Hodgson said their partnership with Tesco is part of their “mission to introduce more people to sushi and fresh Japanese food”.

“Developing our YO! To Go proposition is an integral part of our multi-channel strategy to drive availability and engagement with more consumers,” he added.
