Pizza Hut US launches Bacon Stuffed Crust Pizza
The pizza chain unveiled its latest Stuffed Crust creation, bringing together two of the most popular foods in one pizza: The Bacon Stuffed Crust Pizza.
The Bacon Stuffed Crust Pizza features a stuffed crust filled with a delicious blend of three cheeses – mozzarella, white cheddar and provolone – and pieces of real Applewood smoked bacon. The flavorful twist on the original Pizza Hut Stuffed Crust Pizza will be available as a large one-topping pizza for $12.99.
“As the creator of the original Stuffed Crust Pizza, Pizza Hut has passion for pushing taste buds and bringing the most creative concepts to the pizza category,” said Jared Drinkwater, vice president of marketing, Pizza Hut.
“With the Bacon Stuffed Crust Pizza, we’re continuing to bring our customers what they want: A flavor-packed pizza that combines two foods America loves – pizza and bacon – into one epic pizza.”
To support the Bacon Stuffed Crust Pizza, Pizza Hut is introducing a new integrated creative campaign featuring Bobby Moynihan, who will star in a new TV spot for the brand, as well as in digital content to be featured on Pizza Hut social media channels. The new creative will begin running on May 6.
“Pizza with bacon stuffed in the crust is truly one of man’s greatest creations,” said Moynihan. “On a scale of 1 to 10 stars, I’d give it 363 million stars.”
The Bacon Stuffed Crust Pizza can be topped with any of the following fresh Pizza Hut ingredients: Mediterranean black olives, Peruvian cherry peppers, fresh mushrooms, fresh spinach, fresh red onions, fresh green bell peppers, sliced banana peppers, sweet pineapple, sliced jalapeño peppers, and diced roma tomatoes as well as pepperoni, Italian sausage, premium salami, classic meatballs, slow-roasted ham, hardwood smoked bacon, grilled chicken, beef and seasoned pork.
Customers can choose from six sauces to customize their Bacon Stuffed Crust Pizza, including Classic Marinara, Premium Crushed Tomato, Creamy Garlic Parmesan, Honey Sriracha, Barbeque and Buffalo. Pizza lovers can also add sauce drizzles to their pizza, including Balsamic, Honey Sriracha, Barbeque and Buffalo.
The Bacon Stuffed Crust Pizza is available for a limited time for dine-in, carryout or delivery at participating Pizza Hut locations around the country.
