
Chart of the Week: Non-deal visits in QSRs grow ahead of deal visits: NPD Group
The result from the recent NPD Group's study shows that 28% of visits to the out of home (OOH) market involve some form of deal or promotion.
This amounts to 3 billion visits a year and is worth £14.5 billion (data from the end of December 2017). Throughout 2016 and most of 2017, non-deal visits were growing ahead of deal visits, this has now changed as consumers began to suffer from discount fatigue.
