Rosa's Thai Cafe appoints Gavin Adair as new Managing Director
The ex-Wahaca commercial and strategy director will begin in his new role on July 17, 2017.
Director Rosa’s Thai Cafe, the London-based group of authentic Thai restaurants, has appointed Gavin Adair as its new Managing Director. Adair will start working ahead of a second phase of expansion for the restaurant group.
Having spent three years as Finance Director at ASK Italian and a further two as Commercial and Strategy Director at Oaxaca Limited (parent company to Wahaca, DF/Mexico and Burrito Mama), Adair will bring a wealth of experience to the position, as Rosa’s looks to continue a period of expansion that has seen the opening of four sites in the last six months.
Following Adair’s appointment, Director and Co-Founder Alex Moore will become Executive Chairman, while Co-Founder Saiphin Moore will retain her role as F&B Director. As the group continues to focus on new opening over the coming months, new positions will be appointed.
“After 9 years we feel this is a good strategic move for our next phase of expansion,” said Alex Moore of the appointment. “Bringing Gavin on board will allow me to focus on site selection and development, which will be essential to our continued growth. When Gavin joined Wahaca they were a similar size - now they’re at 25 plus sites. We are sure he will become a great asset to Rosa’s and are delighted to welcome him to the team.”
Rosa’s Thai Café recently opened its tenth site in the capital, with a new Seven Dials branch opened at 26 Earlham Street in July.
